SRLN Brief: LHI Document Assembly (SRLN 2015)
LawHelp Interactive was developed to make implementing document assembly initiatives easier and less costly for legal aid organizations as well as pro bono and court-based access-to-justice programs. Participating programs use HotDocs Corporation's HotDocs Professional, and optionally the Center for Access to Justice and Technology's A2J Author, to create online forms and documents.

SRLN Brief: Appellate Self-Help (SRLN 2015)
Self-help resources in appellate courts, both at the state and federal level, are becoming increasingly common. While we do not have any numbers regarding the frequency of self represented litigant (SRL) appeals, we do know that there is a demand for appellate courts to devise resources and consider simplifying procedures in order to meet the SRL need. SRL innovation on the appellate level is largely managed by the appellate clerk of court, although the appellate bar has also developed some innovative programs.

State Profile: Massachusetts
The Massachusetts Judicial Branch is committed to ensuring equal access to the court system for all members of the public, including self-represented litigants, those of limited or no English proficiency, and individuals with mental or physical disabilities. Towards that end, in June, 2009 the Chief Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court and the Trial Court established the Access to Justice Initiative. 
Report: Impact of Order Preparation: Alameda County (California 2005)
In 2005, the Alameda Court created the Day-Of-Court Assistance Project. Using volunteers from the local bar and local law schools, and working in conjunction with the Family Law Facilitator’s office, the goal of the project was to have each and every pro se litigant leave the court after a hearing with a clear, valid and enforceable court order, irrespective of whether this issue decided was custody, visitation, child or spousal support, or property division.
